This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the YTSubs: Subscription Exporter web service, and informs you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Summary

• You authenticate using your Google account (OAuth)
• We store only what is necessary to retrieve your subscriptions
• We do not sell or track personal data

Information We Collect

We may collect the following:

• Email address (from Google)
• YouTube OAuth access and refresh tokens
• Your subscription list (temporarily cached)
• Your Google user ID and internal API key for access control

Use of Your Personal Data

• To fetch your YouTube subscriptions
• To cache the results for performance (12 hours max)
• To refresh your YouTube token when needed

Retention of Your Data

We store minimal data in AWS DynamoDB and only for the duration necessary to fulfill the service. Subscriptions are refreshed every 12 hours.

Security

All communication is encrypted (HTTPS). Tokens and keys are stored securely using AWS infrastructure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are in the EU, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including:

• Access your data
• Correct your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

CCPA / CPRA (California)

We do not sell personal information. You may request access or deletion of any data associated with you by contacting us.

CalOPPA Compliance

We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser requests. YTSubs: Subscription Exporter does not use cookies or advertising trackers.

Children's Privacy

YTSubs: Subscription Exporter is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

How to Remove Your Data

You may:

• Email support@ytsubs.app to request data deletion
• Revoke Subscription Exporter access from your Google Account Permissions

Sharing and Disclosure of Your Data

We do not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your personal data — including Google user data — to any third parties, except as necessary to operate the service. Specifically, we use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and secure data storage. No user data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or other unrelated third parties.
